The Secretary-General today met with H.E. Mr. Chingiz Aidarbekov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.  The Secretary-General and the Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed cooperation between the United Nations and the Kyrgyz Republic, including implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The Secretary-General reaffirmed the continued support of the United Nations for the democratic processes in the country. The Secretary-General and the Foreign Minister also discussed issues related to regional cooperation.
