Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Danny Faure, President of the Republic of Seychelles

 
The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Danny Faure, President of the Republic of Seychelles.
 
The Secretary-General thanked Seychelles for their role as last year’s Chair of the Contact Group on Piracy off the coast of Somalia, as well as Seychelles’ overall contributions to reducing the threat of piracy in the region.
 
The Secretary-General also acknowledged the vital concern that climate change represented to Seychelles and Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
