Today, the Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Yoweri Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda. The Secretary-General appreciated Uganda’s continued commitment to host refugees in the face of continued mass influxes.
 
They exchanged views on the main peace, security and humanitarian challenges facing the region, including recent developments in South Sudan and Burundi. The Secretary-General reiterated the United Nations support to regional and sub-regional organizations leading peace processes in the region.
