I thank the people and Government of the United Arab Emirates and extend special thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.  The United Nations deeply appreciates all his work to advance science, creativity and sustainable development.
 
Access to information and knowledge is critical to prepare youth for the future.  This is especially vital as young people claim their rights and seek opportunities for productive employment.
 
I thank you for joining forces at this important gathering to leverage knowledge and promote development across the region and around the world.  Best wishes for a successful Summit.
