The Secretary-General met today, 1December 2010, with H.E. Ms. Dalia Grybauskaite, the President of Lithuania, on the margins of the OSCE Summit in Astana.

They discussed a range of matters, including Lithuania's Chairmanship of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe in 2011 and UN-OSCE cooperation as well as Afghanistan. The Secretary-General stressed that the UN highly valued cooperation with the OSCE.
