Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand. The Secretary-General congratulated the Prime Minister on assuming office and looked forward to continuing the strong partnership between Thailand and the United Nations. The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for Thailand’s leadership on the 2030 agenda and progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. They also discussed the situation in Myanmar.
