The Secretary-General will travel to Washington, D.C., for one day on Tuesday, February 3rd for a series of meetings with senior U.S. officials.
In the morning, he will be holding separate meetings with President George W. Bush, Secretary of State Colin Powell and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice.
The Secretary-General is also expected to have lunch with the President at the White House.
While in Washington, the Secretary-General will also meet with members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, including Majority Leader Bill Frist, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Representative Bill Young, Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee.
The Secretary-General will be back at Headquarters on Wednesday morning.
