Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Ms. Rebeca Grynspan, Secretary General of the Ibero-American General Secretariat

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Ms. Rebeca Grynspan, the Secretary General of the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), on the margins of the 71st General Debate.  The Secretary-General commended Ms. Grynspan for her leadership at the helm of SEGIB, and suggested that she encourage all Member States of Ibero-American to ratify the Paris Agreement. The Secretaries-General discussed the importance of cooperation between the two organizations, including in supporting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
