Readout of the Secretary-General's meeting with H.E. Mr. Ollanta Humala, President of Peru, on the margins of the 66th General Assembly

The Secretary-General was pleased to meet today with President Humala and congratulate him in person on having assumed the presidency of Peru. The Secretary-General also congratulated President Humala on the adoption of the indigenous consultation law. The Secretary-General and President Humala discussed the importance of social inclusion, as well as South America's innovative contributions to global debates.
