Readout of the Secretary-General's meeting with H.E. Ms. Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, President of Argentina

On 28 September 2010, the Secretary-General met with Ms. Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, President of Argentina. The Secretary-General congratulated Argentina for its election as Chair of the Group of 77 and China, as well as for its leadership on counter-terrorism and nuclear disarmament. They discussed various matters, including Argentina's support to peacekeeping operations and Haiti's reconstruction.
