Readout of the Secretary-General's meeting with H.E. Mr. Porfirio Lobo, President of Honduras on the margins of the 65th General Assembly

The Secretary-General met with Mr. Porfirio Lobo, President of Honduras, today. They discussed a range of issues, including the Honduran domestic situation, relations with other Member States, human rights, as well as the recently established Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The Secretary-General assured President Lobo of the United Nation's support for his efforts to promote the rule of law, protect human right and fight impunity.
