Activity: 
ICCAT continues in its efforts to promote capacity-building of developing countries, which includes funding for participation in meetings, training activities on data collection and reporting and regional workshops. Several funds have been estalbilshed for this purpose, some financed through the Working Capital Fund and others through voluntary contributions of ICCAT contracting Parties and collaborators. The funds available include the Meeting Participation Fund for Developing ICCAT Contracting Parties, Scientific Capacity Building Fund for Developing States which are ICCAT Contracting Parties, the Special Fund for Improvements in Data Collection and Quality Assurance, and the Monitoring, Control, and Surveillance Fund.
Objectives: 
Facilitate attednance at meetings of the Commission, support knowledge development and skills acquisition, training in data collection and to ensure developing Contracting Partiers meet or exceed minimum standards for an ICCAT Scheme for Minimum Standards for Inspection in Port
