Noor Alsada is a senior adviser for Sustainable Development at the Office of the President of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. She also served as an adviser for the social and humanitarian cluster.

A Qatari diplomat, she joined the Foreign Ministry of the State of Qatar in 2007, where she worked in the European & American Department as a political researcher. Noor then served at Qatar Permanent mission at the United Nations in Geneva, where she served from April 2012 until July 2017 (as second secretary) ,covering mainly Human Rights Council and other international organizations like the International Telecommunications Union.

Prior to joining the Office of the President, she worked as a First Secretary at the State Minister office at the Ministry of foreign Affairs in Qatar, From August 2017 until September 2019.

Noor graduated from the University of Essex with BA politics (honour) in UK. She also holds a Master’s degree of International Studies and Diplomacy from Soas University, University of London (UK), she also has an Executive Master in international law of armed conflict (2017) from Geneva Academy (Switzerland).

She organized many side events on different issues like education and sport at the Palais des Nations while she was working in Geneva. In April 2014 she participated in organizing an event on the celebration of the International day of sport which was the first time that was celebrated at the UN in Geneva.
