Tiamiyu Prudence Arobani is a media adviser in the Office of the President of the United Nations General Assembly (74th Session). He works with the Spokesperson for the President and other advisers in the Communication Team to ensure that United Nations-based and other correspondents in broadcast, print and social media are briefed on the activities and programmes of the President.

Arobani was the immediate past North America Bureau Chief and United Nations Resident Correspondent for the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) – Africa’s largest News Agency and the region’s largest source of news content.

He has over a decade of experience as a journalist, covering the diplomatic missions, United Nations system and other international organizations, and international events.

Arobani holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and a master’s degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies.

He is an alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program, the United States Government’s premier professional exchange program, and a Fellow of the International Center for Journalists, Washington DC.
