Anna is a communications adviser in the Office of the President of the 74th Session of the General Assembly. She also serves as an adviser on COVID-19-related initiatives.

Before joining the office, Anna worked as a Communications and Policy Officer at the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) Directorate-General for Crisis Prevention, Stabilization, Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Assistance, where she developed and implemented strategies to communicate German engagement in fragile and crisis-ridden contexts to relevant constituencies. During this time, she was also seconded to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) as a short-term election observer.

Previously, Anna worked at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the team of the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator. She holds an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and International Studies from the University of Vienna, attended Yale University on a German Government (DAAD) scholarship as part of her graduate studies, and holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
