Covid-19 and graduation from the LDC category - Statement by the Committee for Development Policy (CDP)

The Committee for Development Policy (CDP) is responsible for periodically reviewing the LDC category and recommending countries for graduation from the category. This statement was issued in May 2020. It expressed concern about the impacts of Covid-19 on LDCs, including countries approaching graduation and referred to how it would address the issue in the triennial review of the LDC category in 2021.
