Registration for the Winter Term (Term 1 of 2025, from 20 January to 28 March) of the Language and Communications courses offered by the Language and Communications Training Unit (LCTU) within the Capacity Development and Operational Training Service, Department of Operational Support, begins on Wednesday, 6 November.
Our offerings cater to eligible participants and cover a broad range of topics, proficiency levels, and learning formats, including online, in-person, and hybrid options. This term, we are pleased to announce several new specialized courses and interactive skills workshops in Chinese, English, Russian, and Spanish.
Additionally, we invite you to explore our established self-study series, designed to meet diverse needs—whether you are looking to acquire a new language, enhance your linguistic skills, or develop strategies for inclusive and effective communication.
Registration for Term 1 will close on 20 December for all regular courses. For specialized courses, registration remains open until one week before the start of the training sessions. Enrolment for online self-study courses registration is ongoing.
In-person support is available during office hours held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the UN Learning Centre – Secretariat Building, level 3B.
