For the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), 2021 was the year of climate action. It was also a time of deepening crises, from Afghanistan to Ethiopia.

Launched today, OCHA’s 2021 in Review covers a year in which intensifying conflicts, the pandemic and climatic shocks dramatically increased people’s needs. But these events also inspired OCHA to work harder to advocate, lobby and find solutions for affected people in all forums, including COP26.
