Registration is still open for Term 4 language and communication courses. While September may feel far away, now is a great time to start planning your learning journey.

Running from 28 September to 11 December 2026, courses are offered to eligible participants in online, in-person and hybrid formats, with learning opportunities tailored to a range of skills, levels and topics. Seats are still available in select Arabic, Chinese, English, Spanish and Russian classes, along with a limited number of options for French, including French 1.1 UN I and the L’impact du langage workshop at UN level III.

Not quite ready to think about September yet? We understand, summer has its own agenda. Still, this time of year is your opportunity to make the most of our self-study options, available year-round in all six official languages of the United Nations. Short, online and flexible, these courses let you learn at your own pace, whether you want to refresh your grammar, build confidence, explore gender-inclusive language, reflect on biased or discriminatory expressions, or simply discover something new before the next term begins.

Recent additions to our self-paced catalogue offer even more ways to learn: an introduction to the Chinese writing system, professional workplace communication in Spanish, authentic French listening practice through the UNTold series, and a beginner French course on pronunciation, basic vocabulary and Francophone cultures. A streamlined registration process also makes enrolment easier than ever.

Plan ahead, keep learning and join us in celebrating multilingualism, this summer and beyond.
