On Tuesday, 21 May 2024, the UN Flag will be lowered to half-mast as a mark of respect for the passing of His Excellency Mr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. All offices and duty stations are encouraged to lower their flags on this occasion.
As part of its mandate to preserve and provide access to historical UN documents, the Dag Hammarskjöld Library has completed the digitization of an important series of Security Council documents.
