The Department of Operational Support in collaboration with its catering contractor CulinArt Group is pleased to host the Lighthouse Guild Summer Job Experience Program.
This initiative is designed to empower visually impaired high school students by offering real-world experiences in a professional culinary environment.
Funded by Lighthouse Guild, the program will welcome four students selected through a competitive application process. Participants will receive guided instruction and mentorship from experienced culinary professionals as they rotate through various key functions of kitchen and food service operations including food preparation and production, stocking and inventory management, beverage preparation, and cashier training at the Vienna or Riverview Cafe.
The four-week program is scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 31 July 2025.
