The Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA) will host a webinar on “Boosting innovation for African Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT).”
The webinar will provide a platform to discuss challenges and opportunities for African MSMEs in the digital era. It will bring together experts in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education, intellectual property rights, and industrialisation, alongside representatives of MSMEs, the United Nations system, African institutions, academia, the private sector, and civil society.
The webinar seeks to identify specific policy recommendations to strengthen digital cooperation and leverage science, technology, and innovation (STI) in Africa, including through mutually agreed-upon technology transfers to help close the digital and innovation divide.
