Elizabeth is a Fordham Youth Representative to the United Nations for the 2019-2020 academic year. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Humanitarian Studies from Fordham College at Lincoln Center. She serves as a graduate assistant for the Fordham University Institutional Review Board, where she evaluates research proposals for studies to be conducted by faculty and students. Originally from Massachusetts, Elizabeth has been living in New York since her tenure at Fordham and has welcomed the city's many opportunities. As a Youth Representative, Elizabeth hopes to accrue a better understanding of the day-to-day work of the United Nations. She looks forward to attending briefings and other events, sharing these experiences with the greater Fordham community, and partnering with existing Fordham clubs and groups to introduce students to the work of the U.N. The United Nations is an accessible organization where youth voices can and should be heard. Elizabeth plans to involve more Fordham students and youth in general with the framework of the United Nations.
