The High-Level Selection Committee gathers a group of influential leaders from key networks — including the United Nations, national and local governments, civil society, the entertainment industry, private sector, and beyond — who have played an essential role in providing feedback to the Office of the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth in making the final selection on the next class of Young Leaders for the SDGs. The inputs of the High-Level Selection Committee are designed to ensure that the next class of Young Leaders represents voices from all corners of the world who are at the frontlines of combatting the world’s most pressing issues and whose leadership is catalyzing the achievement of the SDGs.
