The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal. The Secretary-General reaffirmed the continued support of the United Nations to Senegal’s efforts to promote sustainable development. They discussed broader UN-Senegal cooperation, including the UN80 initiative.
