Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Kashim Shettima, Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Kashim Shettima, Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They exchanged views on regional economic integration and the political and security situation in West Africa and the Sahel region. 
 
They also discussed digital technology and Artificial Intelligence developments and the humanitarian situation in Nigeria. The Secretary-General commended Nigeria on its continued efforts to promote sustainable development.
