Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mrs. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mrs. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia. The Secretary-General and the President discussed Namibia’s development priorities including youth empowerment, as well as the UN80 initiative and reform of the United Nations Security Council and the international financial architecture. The Secretary-General and the President also exchanged views on the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and in Western Sahara.
