Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo, Vice-President of the Republic of Uganda

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo, Vice-President of the Republic of Uganda. He expressed his deep appreciation for Uganda’s generosity in hosting close to 2 million refugees from across the region. The Secretary-General and the Vice-President also exchanged views on regional peace and security, and reaffirmed the ongoing cooperation between Uganda and the United Nations.
