The Secretary-General met with H.E. Ms. Alicia Bárcena Ibarra, Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Mexico. The Secretary-General and the Secretary for Foreign Affairs discussed Mexico’s efforts to implement the Pact of the Future and the Global Digital Compact.

They exchanged views on the situation in Gaza and Lebanon as well as on efforts to address climate change and the reform of global governance, including the international financial architecture.

El Secretario General se reunió con S.E., la Sra. Alicia Bárcena Ibarra, Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores de México. El Secretario General y la Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores discutieron los esfuerzos de México para implementar el Pacto por el Futuro y el Pacto Digital Mundial.

Intercambiaron impresiones sobre la situación en Gaza y Líbano, y así como sobre los esfuerzos para hacer frente al cambio climático y la reforma de la gobernanza mundial, incluida la arquitectura financiera internacional.
