Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia.  

The Secretary-General and the President discussed the upcoming presidential and legislative elections, scheduled for 10 October.  

The Secretary-General reaffirmed the continued commitment of the United Nations to support the consolidation of democracy and promote sustainable development.
