Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Secretary-General and the President discussed the UN-Kazakhstan cooperation, developments in Central Asia as well as the proposal by Kazakhstan to establish an SDG Hub for Central Asia and Afghanistan in Almaty. President Tokayev expressed his full support to the Secretary General’s Policy Brief on A New Agenda for Peace.
