The Secretary-General met with H.E. Ms. Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for the close cooperation between the United Nations and Bangladesh. The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also discussed the urgency to step up efforts in the face of current global challenges.
