Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Sirodjiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan

 The Secretary-General today met with H.E. Mr. Sirodjiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Secretary-General and the Minister discussed developments related to Afghanistan and Central Asia, as well as regional cooperation.
 
The Secretary-General welcomed Tajikistan’s leadership on water- and glacier-related issues, particularly in relation to the Water Action Decade 2018-2028.
