The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Riyad Al-Maliki, Foreign Minister of the State of Palestine. The Secretary-General and Foreign Minister Al-Maliki discussed the Middle East Peace Process and reaffirmed their shared commitment to the two-state solution and the need to build conditions for a return to meaningful negotiations.
