The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Othman Jerandi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia. The Secretary-General commended Tunisia on its important role as elected member of the United Nations Security Council.  
 
The Secretary-General and Minister Jerandi discussed the situation in the region, including Libya. They also discussed the way forward for the implementation of the proposals in the Secretary-General's report on Our Common Agenda.

Le Secrétaire général s’est entretenu aujourd’hui avec S.E. M. Othman Jerandi, Ministre des Affaires étrangères de la République tunisienne. Le Secrétaire général a félicité la Tunisie pour son rôle important en tant que membre élu du Conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies.  
 
Le Secrétaire général et le Ministre Jerandi ont discuté de la situation dans la région, y compris en Libye. Ils ont également discuté de la voie à suivre pour la mise en œuvre des propositions contenues dans le rapport du Secrétaire général sur Notre programme commun.
