The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Secretary-General expressed his appreciation for Germany’s active role in promoting solutions to the most pressing issues of today, notably climate change and the importance of multilateralism. They also exchanged views on current situations, including developments related to Afghanistan.
