Readout of the Secretary-General's meeting with H.E. Mr. James Marape, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea

The Secretary-General met H.E. Mr. James Marape, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, and discussed the progress in implementation of the Bougainville Peace Agreement. The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also discussed the importance of a coordinated approach to recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for greater international action and solidarity on climate change.
