The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands.

The Secretary-General thanked the Prime Minister for the Netherlands’ support to multilateralism and the Common Agenda. They discussed global efforts to combat climate change, including in the context of Small Island Developing States.

The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also exchanged views on the situations in Ethiopia and Afghanistan.
