Readout of the Secretary-General's meeting with H.E. Mr. Vincent Biruta, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Vincent Biruta, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda. The Secretary-General congratulated Rwanda for its work in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals as well as its efforts in climate change and development financing. The Secretary-General and the Minister also discussed the challenges of COVID-19, regional peace and security issues, and Rwanda’s contribution to the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA).
