The Secretary-General met H.E. Mr. Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, President of Mongolia. The Secretary-General congratulated Mongolia on the 60th anniversary of its membership of the United Nations. The Secretary-General commended Mongolia for its contribution to UN peacekeeping and commitment to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. The Secretary-General and the President also discussed climate change and COVID-19 recovery efforts.
