Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.      

The Secretary-General conveyed his appreciation to the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States for the close UN-LAS relationship. The two Secretaries-General discussed the situation in the Arab world, including the Middle East Peace Process and Libya.
