The Secretary-General met with H.E. Gen. (retd.) Prayuth Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand.  The Secretary-General thanked Thailand for its chairmanship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations during 2019 and expressed appreciation for Thailand’s continued support to strengthening the partnership with the United Nations. They also discussed the 2030 Development Agenda, climate action and regional issues.
