The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.  The Secretary-General said he looked forward to working closely with Viet Nam during its tenure as a non-permanent member of the Security Council (2020-2021), when it will also hold the rotating chairmanship of ASEAN (2020). The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also discussed sustainable development, climate action, and regional issues.
