Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama, Prime Minister of Fiji

The Secretary-General met H.E. Mr. Josaia Vorege Bainimarama, Prime Minister of Fiji. The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister agreed on the urgent need to strengthen efforts addressing climate change. They also exchanged views on sustainable development. The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for Fiji’s support for the work of the United Nations.
