Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E Mr. Ibrahim Solih, President of Maldives

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Ibrahim Solih, President of the Maldives. The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for close cooperation between Maldives and the United Nations, particularly on the issue of climate change. The Secretary-General and the President also discussed the progress in the reform agenda of the Maldives and its progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
