The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, State Councilor and Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China.
 
The Secretary-General thanked China for its contribution to the United Nations, including in the areas of peacekeeping and sustainable development and expressed the will of strengthened cooperation in all areas of activity of the United Nations, peace and security, sustainable development, climate change and human rights.
 
The Secretary-General expressed the strong commitment to multilateralism.
