Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. The Secretary-General underlined the continued commitment of the United Nations to assist Armenia’s ongoing reform efforts, including on electoral system. 
 
The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister exchanged views on recent developments related to the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. The Secretary-General underlined the UN’s support for the important efforts of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chairs. They also exchanged views on regional developments in the Caucasus and Middle East.
