Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Egils Levits, President of the Republic of Latvia

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Egils Levits, President of the Republic of Latvia. 

The Secretary-General and the President discussed issues of peace and security and regional cooperation in Europe. They also discussed the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and in particular, matters related to the rule of law.
