Readout of the Secretary-General's meeting with H.E. Mr. Jorge Lopes Bom Jesus, Prime Minister of the Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Jorge Lopes Bom Jesus, Prime Minister of São Tomé and Príncipe. The Secretary-General congratulated the Prime Minister on his recent assumption of office. The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister discussed the priorities of the new São Toméan Government and avenues for United Nations support to inclusive and consensual reform initiatives. The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also exchanged views on the need to strengthen regional integration and cooperation in Central Africa.
