Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Yoweri Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda

Today, the Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Yoweri Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda. They exchanged views on the main peace, security and humanitarian challenges facing the region, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
 
The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for Uganda’s continued commitment to host refugees, as well as its role in Somalia.
